Farmfair hosted their annual Stock Dog Competition with some of the best handlers in the West coming north for the show. The competition is a timed arena trial in which all dogs run on both days with cumulative times. The top three received day money and the top ten dogs from the average competed in a final trial for the jackpot.
Congratulations to Matthew Hadley-Roberts of Valleyview, Alta., who earned first place with Glen and second with his dog, Callie. Third place went to Dale Montgomery of Maple Creek, Sask., and his dog, Ben. All three of the top dogs scored 18 points each.
