Good weather and good crowds greeted buyers at the 10th annual sale held Sept 13 in Maple Creek, Sask.

The high selling saddle horse was Lot 62; MTR Billysgotagun, a 2011 sorrel gelding consigned by Amos Abrahamson that sold for $7,500 to Dale and Melissa Weiss of Elkwater, Alta.

The high selling colt was Lot 18; a bay stallion by Chex My Magic x Frosty Royal Girl owned by Roger and Lou Parsonage. Amos Abrahamson of Maple Creek, Sask., purchased the youngster for $3,200.

The top five high selling saddle horses averaged $6,770 and the 31 colts sold at
an average of $833.
