Las Vegas Bucking Horse Futurity

Last December the Las Vegas Bucking Horse Futurity was the most-watched live streaming video from Vegas. This year, they have expanded the coverage to three days of action; Dec 4–6.

On Dec 4, the rough stock action will include 10 bareback, 10 saddle broncs and 10 bulls all showcased with riders during the special PRCA Permit Challenge performance. On Dec 5, the World Futurity Bronc Finale (open only to saddle bronc) features some of the rankest four and five-year-old saddle bronc horses matched against the best bronc riders in the world. These horses sell on Saturday. On Dec 6, some 30 elite saddle broncs, bares and bulls will be bucked and sold after their performance. This year’s sale will also include the pick up horse sale.

At press time, Canadian entries to watch for in the Futurity include Senlac, Sask’s Cooper Clan Bucking Horses Mojo Bone (Ash is also bringing two outstanding bareback horses; The General and Whiskey Drummer). More Canadian horses to watch in the Futurity includes two broncs from David and Laurie McDonald from MX — near Lac la Biche Alta., and one bronc from Ward Macza of High River, Alta.
