When Ty Pozzobon rode into the professional bull riding scene it was obvious that he had talent. In 2010 he won the Canadian Professional Rodeo’s Rookie of the Year Award and was runner up for the Canadian title at his second CFR in 2012. After claiming the lead in his pool of bull riders at the Calgary Stampede in 2014, Pozzobon has become a household name.
Prior to Calgary, in 2014 this BC bull rider has already made close to $100,000 and he feels that he has already made enough money to qualify the World PBR Finals at Las Vegas, in October. The next goal he says, is to make the WNFR in December.
After walking off the giant stage at the Calgary Stampede with his second bronze trophy, this cowboy is fuelled to continue his winning streak.
“Once you get the feeling of winning, you just want to keep rolling,” says Pozzobon.
There are now Pozzobon fans across the country watching and cheering on this talented cowboy ride his way into the history books this season. However Pozzobon says his biggest fans, are still his family.
“My family has been super supportive of me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of my family. They always put my dreams first. It’s everybody’s dream to be here riding for a $100,000 and they made it possible for me.”
