It’s rodeo season and on behalf of all of us here at Canadian Cowboy Country magazine, we would like to congratulate the folks that brought you some of the top rodeos last year?—?the winners of the 2012 CPRA Committees of the Year. The awards were presented at the River Cree Resort during the Canadian Finals Rodeo.

The winners are (large rodeo) Ponoka; (medium) La Crete and (small) Maple Creek. The awards, sponsored by Canadian Cowboy Country, were presented by publisher Rob Tanner.

On a related note; both La Crete and Maple Creek were also voted in as the committee’s with the Best Ground, while the most improved ground recognition went to Dawson Creek.
