JUNO AWARD WINNER CORB LUND SUPPORTS HIS FAMILY WITH A LOCAL FUNDRAISER
Toronto, ON – Corb Lund takes the stage in Taber, Alberta with The Hurtin’
Albertans and lends a hand in support of his niece, Brynn Lund to raise money
for her and their family. All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the
Lund family.
JUNO winner and five-time CCMA Roots Artist of the Year Corb Lund is, at the
heart, an unparalleled regional storyteller. Losin’ Lately Gambler, Corb’s sixth
album and first major international release, is another engrossing collection of
sharply drawn characters and richly authentic tales inspired by his own ancestry
from the Canadian West.
Lund has been singing about his upbringing, in his own style, for more than a
decade on critically acclaimed albums such as the Canadian gold-selling Five
Dollar Bill (2002), Hair In My Eyes Like A Highland Steer (2005) and Horse
Soldier! Horse Soldier! (2007). Lund has also won a Juno, countless Canadian
Country Music Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards, Canadian Folk Music
Awards and both Canadian and U.S. Independent Music Awards.
Please join Corb Lund and The Hurtin’ Albertans and his family by supporting
this event. Tickets go on sale Tuesday March 15, 2011.
