What a night! The 2010 Canadian Country Music Awards was a huge success!
Paul Brandt’s spoof on Johnny Reid’s ‘Today I’m Gonna Try And Change The World’ kicked off the show and what a show it was with more performers than ever before on the CCMA stage!
Gord Bamford took home three awards including, Male Artist of the Year/Video & Album of the Year for ‘Day Job’. Gord also received the 2010 Humanitarian Award at the Gala Dinner on September 11, 2010.
Johnny Reid walked away with two awards, Fan’s Choice and Single of the Year for ‘Dance With Me’ – when asked how he was going to celebrate his win he laughed and said he would be going back to the hotel to order a pizza and watch a movie with his wife!
A surprised Victoria Banks took home the award for Female Artist of the Year, Doc Walker won Group of the Year and One More Girl were thrilled to win the Rising Star Award!
I was lucky enough to get some time on the red carpet after the show with Paul Brandt, Doc Walker, The Road Hammers, Victoria Banks and Gord Bamford! Checkout our video of the event and let us know what you think!
