Corb Lund announces Medicine Hat flood relief concert

Corb Lund is raising spirits and raising awareness for flood relief in Medicine Hat, Alberta. CHAT 94.5, CHAT TV, MY96, The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede, Shooting Star Events, Als Audio, Kara Security, BMO and the Medicine Hat Mall have banded together to produce a flood relief show to reach out to the community.

The concert will take place at the Cypress Centre on Sunday, July 11th, 2010. Corb is ready to rock for a good cause!

Help is coming from all angles; Stan Sakamoto from Shooting Star Events will be hosting a tailgate barbecue at 5 pm with all profits given to the Flood Relief Fund;

When the doors open at 6 pm, a silent auction for items donated by local businesses will take place for further flood relief.

The concert will begin at 7pm with Corb Lund taking the stage.

This is an 18 and over event, and all liquor sales will go towards the relief effort. Partnering up with the Canadian Red Cross, a bank account with BMO Bank of Montreal has been set up in order to manage all profits made from this benefit show. If you would like to donate, please do so to the CHAT-CFMY Flood Relief Fund at the BMO Branch in Medicine Hat.
